A skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping buildings, equipment, and building systems in good working order. A Maintenance Technician takes prior in a job well done and will possess the skills necessary to maintain, repair or replace, including but not limited to, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC systems, and basic electrical repairs. Most possess excellent time management and organization skills, good customer services and a positive team-oriented attitude. The Maintenance Technician reports to the Asset Manager. GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES • Work directly with the Asset Manager and the Property Managers to maintain efficient operation of the building and the grounds., • Perform manual repairs (fix locks, replace windows etc.), • Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned., • Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality., • Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets etc.), • Conduct property walks and inspections and identify areas needing attention., • Complete work orders in a timely fashion through the property manager software, • Ensure compliance with building safety codes., • Available to work an on-call rotation, including nights and weekends., • Possess tools used to assemble, disassemble, and repair various projects., • Other tasks as assigned.
