An Oil Change Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and basic vehicle inspections to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform oil and filter changes on cars, trucks, and other vehicles.
Check and top off vehicle fluids, including coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and windshield washer fluid.
Inspect tires, brakes, batteries, belts, hoses, and other vehicle components.
Rotate tires and perform basic preventive maintenance services.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Inform customers of recommended maintenance or potential vehicle issues.
Follow safety procedures and company standards while servicing vehicles.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Properly dispose of used oil, filters, and other waste materials according to environmental regulations.
Assist senior mechanics with additional repairs and maintenance as needed
