Health Plus Management is seeking an energetic, patient-centric and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to greet patients, schedule appointments, answer phones and manage administrative records. In this role, you will set the stage for each patient's appointment. You will build and maintain professional relationships with our key stakeholders - specifically our patients, office staff and clinical team, while simultaneously ensuring that the office is organized and runs smoothly. The role of a Direct Support Professional (DSP) is to work with children and their families to provide resources and support, as well as strengthen daily living skills. The services are provided in the individual's home or community setting, giving the families respite while gaining important life skills. Responsibilities: • Conduct patient encounters and provide medical care under physician supervision., • Write orders for medications, laboratory, and diagnostic tests; interpret results for gastrointestinal and hepatology subspecialties., • Collaborate with attending physicians to ensure quality patient care., • Learn and perform GI motility testing, Video Capsule endoscopy, and elastography., • Record detailed patient histories and perform comprehensive physical exams., • Develop therapeutic plans based on data correlation., • Ensure HIPAA-compliant patient confidentiality., • Provide patient instructions related to medical care., • Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care, medications, and treatment plans.
