We are seeking a Foreman/Driver who is primarily responsible for both driving and acting as Foreman for jobs. Responsibilities: · Must provide excellent customer service and interact with clients professionally and courteously. · Ensures motor vehicle safety during driving, backing, parking, and all transport activities. · Completes pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintains required job documentation. · Properly reports and documents accidents, incidents, violations, and safety matters per company policy. · Verifies loads, secures cargo, and ensures safe transport from point A to B. · Complies with all traffic laws and state/federal DOT regulations, including maintaining accurate work-hour logs. · Coordinates closely with dispatch, plans routes, and meets delivery schedules. · Performs daily truck maintenance and reports mechanical issues before driving. · Loads and unloads trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed. · Leads and motivates moving teams, ensures safe work environments, follows procedures, maintains professionalism, and completes other assigned duties. Requirements: · At least 2 years of driving experience with a 26 ft truck. · Must have a clean driving record. · Must have recently passed a DOT physical fitness exam (required every 2 years). · Moving experience required. · Knowledge of federal and multi-state DOT laws, driver regulations, and moving requirements is required. · Strong customer service experience is required. · Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced, time-critical environment is required. · Skilled in problem-solving, working safely, and adapting quickly to changing job demands. · Basic English verbal and written communication skills are required. · Must be a flexible, self-directed team player able to work 40+ hours with frequent overtime/weekends, with physical demands including driving, standing/walking, and occasional bending, climbing, and exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and temperature extremes. We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Field Quality Control Specialist and a Lead to ensure the highest standards are upheld on residential moves throughout the tri-state area. This role is responsible for visiting job sites, evaluating crew performance, and ensuring that all moving operations meet company expectations, safety standards, and client needs—particularly with high-profile clients. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct on-site inspections of packing, loading, unloading, and overall move execution, • Ensure all work meets company policies, customer expectations, and safety regulations, • Monitor crews in real time, offering support and resolving issues as they arise, • Deliver constructive feedback and on-the-spot coaching to moving crews, • Provide exceptional customer service and de-escalate issues professionally when needed, • Serve as a key point of contact for clients during move execution, especially high-profile individuals, • Maintain accurate records of job visits, client feedback, and quality metrics, • Collaborate with dispatch and operations to address issues and improve processes, • Identify recurring problems and recommend improvements to training or procedures, • Support new crew member training on quality standards, safety, and professionalism, • Generate reports if and when needed on the field performance Qualifications: • Prior experience in quality audit the moving industry, consumer service, or hospitality is needed, • Moving experience required, • Strong customer service skills; ability to remain calm, courteous, and solution-oriented, • Must be comfortable dealing with high-net-worth and VIP clientele, • Clean driving record and valid driver's license (company vehicle provided), • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written in English), • Proven ability to assess team performance and give effective feedback, • Physically able to be on-site, including walking, lifting, and evaluating loading processes, • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, • Strong attention to detail, • Tech-savvy and comfortable with basic reporting tools and mobile communication Salary depends on the level of role and experience: $23/h - 35/h This role may be filled at the Specialist or Lead level depending on experience and demonstrated capability. We are seeking a Dispatcher to join our growing operations team. This role will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day moving operations, assigning crews and trucks, monitoring routes, and ensuring efficient, safe, and on-time performance. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a calm approach under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and dispatch moving teams (drivers, foremen, helpers) for daily and overnight jobs., • Analyze scheduled moves and assign the appropriate crews, trucks, and equipment based on qualifications and workload., • Monitor active jobs for efficiency, safety, and timely completion., • Prepare and review all necessary job documentation (Bill of Lading, contracts, etc.) before dispatch., • Maintain accurate records of workforce availability, vehicle usage, and daily activity., • Communicate with moving teams throughout the shift to resolve issues, delays, or emergencies., • Report and document all incidents, vehicle issues, or safety-related matters in accordance with company policy., • Work closely with the Operations, Safety, and Fleet teams to ensure optimal workforce utilization and truck rotation., • Assist with booking hotels, roadside assistance, and other travel logistics as needed., • Provide daily and weekly reports on manpower, fleet status, and dispatch performance., • Uphold Roadway's customer service standards—always courteous, solution-oriented, and professional., • Any other related duties as assigned. After the busy season, weekend day will be rotational.
