Job Title: Fireplace Installer/Helper Location: Long Island, NY Description: Established Fireplace Installation company is seeking a Fireplace Installer/Helper who will perform duties particular to and normally required in the design, installation, replacement and remodel of fireplaces. Company has been experiencing steady growth and is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in steady challenging work. Responsibilities: Assist in the installation of direct vent gas fireplaces, inserts and stoves, doors and mantels. Ability to lift and carry 100lbs. Ability to climb ladders and work safely on roofs. Requirements: Reading and interpreting installation instructions. Reading and interpreting blueprints, and shop drawings, specifications. Possessing a basic understanding of fireplace venting. Should be reliable, self-motivated, and professional. Should possess good communication skills. Must be able to maintain a safe work area. Should work well with others, be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities. Must have basic hand tools. Education _____________________________ Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (Pay is based on experience and expertise.)
