As a Behavior Therapist, you’ll provide direct ABA services in home, school, and community settings, supporting them through meaningful routines like learning in the classroom, transitioning between activities, and building independence at home. Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you’ll implement treatment plans with care and consistency, helping children strengthen communication, behavior, emotional regulation, and daily living skills in the environments that matter most to them. How You’ll Make an Impact • Deliver care where it matters most: Provide one-on-one ABA services in home, school, and community settings., • Help skills generalize naturally: Support learning that transfers into everyday routines, not just therapy sessions., • Strengthen independence: Help individuals build communication, self-help, social, and behavioral skills that support long-term success., • Partner with families and schools: Collaborate with caregivers, teachers, and school staff to support consistency across environments., • Promote dignity and inclusion: Help individuals participate meaningfully in daily routines and community life with confidence and support., • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by the supervising BCBA., • Deliver one-on-one services in home, school, and community environments while maintaining clinical fidelity and professionalism., • Use evidence-based teaching strategies such as Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), prompting, reinforcement, and task analysis., • Support behavior reduction and skill acquisition goals in real time, while ensuring safety and respect., • Collect accurate data during sessions and document notes/progress updates in a timely and compliant manner., • Communicate observations and progress to the BCBA and clinical team., • Participate in required supervision, training, and team meetings., • Compassionate, patient, and energized by helping others succeed., • Comfortable working independently in field-based settings while staying accountable to clinical standards., • Calm, steady, and safety-minded, especially during challenging behaviors or high-stress situations., • A strong communicator who can work respectfully with families, school teams, and clinical leadership., • Reliable, consistent, and proud to be a stable part of a support system., • High school diploma or equivalent (required)., • Willingness to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within the first 120 days of employment (required)., • Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred)., • Experience supporting children in home-based, school-based, or community settings (preferred)., • Ability to pass background checks, clearances, and health screenings required by state regulations and childcare centers., • Competitive Rate (with OT Eligibility): Based on experience and location., • Supportive clinical supervision: Ongoing guidance from experienced BCBAs., • Professional development: Paid training, supervision, and opportunities for growth., • Meaningful work: Everything you do helps individuals gain skills that last a lifetime., • Collaborative culture: Work alongside passionate clinicians who value teamwork and compassion.
