Job Description Company Overview CME Associates, Inc. (CME) is an engineering technology firm providing comprehensive Construction Materials Evaluation and Technical Support Services. Our experts specialize in geotechnical engineering, construction materials evaluation, special inspections, geological sciences, subsurface exploration, and investigative engineering. Summary The Billing & Accounting Administrator is responsible for overseeing invoice processing, managing accounts receivable, and performing various financial duties. This full-time position is located at CME’s Corporate Headquarters in East Syracuse, NY, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Responsibilities • Invoicing, • Prepare and process invoices in accordance with client schedules, • Enter sales data accurately into QuickBooks, • Ensure timely distribution of invoices on a monthly basis and as per client-specific timelines, • Accounts Receivable, • Conduct accounts receivable follow-up calls, • Generate and maintain detailed A/R reports, • Update QuickBooks with current receivable data, • Organize and store all supporting documentation related to report findings and financial conclusions, • Maintain clear, professional communication with both internal teams and external clientsQualifications, • A high school diploma is required; an associate’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field is preferred, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook; strong experience in creating spreadsheets and manipulating data using Excel is essential, • Familiarity with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software is highly desirable Benefits and Perks CME offers competitive wages and all benefits listed here: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, Health Savings Account, Supplemental Insurance Products, and Paid Time Off (including Holiday, Vacation, Sick and Personal) for full-time employees.
