Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including trigger point therapy and acute care strategies, to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, exercises, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and care plans in compliance with clinic policies.
Experience:
- A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
- Proven experience in orthopedics, pediatrics, or acute care settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and the human body systems is essential.
- Familiarity with creating effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
