Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Maintain the plant facility and fix equipment/machines or call someone to fix things as needed.
Willing and able to do any person's job in the plant, when and if the need arises.
Manage and develop a team of production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Manage inventory and put in orders as needed.
Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in plant management or a similar role.
Food processing especially milk products / dairy / ice-cream manufacturing would be a huge plus
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Proficient in operations management principles, including production planning and scheduling.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
