We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Manager / Purchasing Agent to join our team and play a pivotal role in optimizing our procurement process. You will ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality goods and services, directly supporting our operations and enhancing the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimize purchasing activities.
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for a diverse range of goods and services, including golf equipment, facility maintenance, retail merchandise, and essential operational supplies.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments, including operations, finance, and retail, to understand and meet their procurement needs.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and supplier information.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management role. Must be efficient in producing results.
  • Must have a car for onsite demands.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in procurement software and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A keen interest in the golf industry or prior experience in hospitality/retail environments is a significant advantage.
