Role Overview We are seeking a Practice Leader to build, lead, and scale our Digital Insurance Portal practice across Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life Insurance. This is a senior, strategic leadership role responsible for defining the practice vision, driving go-to-market strategy, leading large presales engagements, and delivering enterprise-scale digital transformation programs for global insurance clients. The role requires a unique blend of deep insurance domain expertise, digital platform leadership, presales excellence, and executive-level client engagement. You will act as a trusted advisor to CXOs, shaping next-generation customer, agent, and broker digital experiences integrated with core insurance platforms. Key Responsibilities Practice Leadership & Strategy Own and lead the Digital Insurance Portal Practice end-to-end, including vision, roadmap, offerings, accelerators, and GTM strategy. Define differentiated portal-led digital transformation propositions across P&C and Life insurance. Build scalable assets, reference architectures, solution blueprints, and industry accelerators. Drive practice growth through pipeline creation, revenue ownership, and strategic account expansion. Presales & Leadership Lead presales, solutioning for large, complex, and strategic insurance engagements. Partner with sales leadership to influence pursuits, structure value propositions, and close high-value deals. Own solution architecture for digital portals integrated with core insurance systems and ecosystems. Ensure commercial viability, delivery feasibility, and business value alignment in all proposals. Client & Executive Engagement Engage with CXOs, business leaders, and IT executives at insurance carriers, MGAs, and brokers to discover problem statement. Act as a trusted advisor on digital experience transformation, platform modernization, and operating model change. Lead client workshops, visioning sessions, and executive presentations. Domain & Solution Leadership Provide thought leadership across the insurance value chain: New business & underwriting Policy administration & servicing Claims management Distribution (agents, brokers, partners, digital channels) Design and position customer, agent, and broker portals leveraging modern UX, APIs, cloud, and core system integrations. Guide adoption of best practices in omnichannel experience, self-service, and straight-through processing. Team Building & Capability Development Build, mentor, and scale high-performing presales, domain, and solution architecture teams. Develop next-generation insurance digital talent and leadership bench. Collaborate with delivery, engineering, and platform teams to ensure seamless execution. Thought Leadership & Market Presence Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, POVs, industry forums, and client advisory sessions. Represent the organization as a subject-matter expert in digital insurance and portal modernization. Track market trends, insurtech innovations, and platform evolution to continuously evolve offerings. Required Skills & Experience • 15+ years of experience in Insurance IT, Digital Transformation, or Consulting., • Strong, hands-on expertise across P&C and Life insurance domains., • Proven experience leading practice-level initiatives, including offerings, GTM, and revenue growth., • Demonstrated success in presales leadership, solution architecture, and large deal closure., • Deep experience designing and implementing digital portals integrated with core insurance systems., • Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills., • Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels. Good to Have Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar core insurance platforms. Cloud experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience working with US insurance carriers, MGAs, or broker ecosystems. Exposure to UX-led design, API-first architectures, and platform modernization initiatives.
