
SP Farms is a leading, cannabis micro-business specializing in producing premium flower. We are known for our strict compliance, high-quality products, and dedicated team culture. As our retail distribution expands, we are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and connected Brand Ambassador to join our team and act as the face of our wholesale catalog to licensed retail dispensaries.
Position Overview
This is a high-energy, field-based "hunter" role. You will be responsible for mapping out your designated territory, establishing direct contact with dispensary inventory buyers, pitching our menu, and expanding our overall retail shelf space. The ideal candidate possesses an active network of existing relationships with dispensary managers and a deep understanding of state-level compliance.
Key Responsibilities
New Account Acquisition: Prospect, pitch, and secure new wholesale partnerships with licensed dispensaries to expand our regional market footprint.
Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for dispensary buyers, store managers, and retail budtenders to guarantee recurring bulk orders.
Product Education & Demos: Deliver compelling presentations on our product lines, strain genetics, cannabinoid profiles, and terpene data to store staff.
Pipeline & Inventory Tracking: Process purchase orders, organize transport timelines, and track interactions using our dedicated B2B CRM.
Brand Activation Support: Plan and execute instore "Vendor Days," budtender appreciation events, and pop-up promotions to stimulate retail pull-through.
Market Intelligence: Monitor local competitor pricing variations, trending packaging formats, and evolving retailer menu needs to advise internal product leadership.
Required Qualifications
Age & Background: Must be 21 years of age or older and capable of passing all state-mandated background clearance requirements for cannabis industry workers.
Sales Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of professional B2B field sales or account management experience (prior experience in cannabis, alcohol, CPG, or tobacco industries preferred).
Industry Networks: Existing, verifiable relationships with retail dispensary buyers within the designated local territory is strongly preferred.
Mobility: Valid driver’s license, safe driving history, and continuous access to a highly reliable personal vehicle for daily territory travel.
Technical Skills: Experience logging daily pipelines using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Leaflink) and basic proficiency in inventory management structures.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally to transport wholesale product samples and event display gear.
Compensation & Benefits
Target base salary ranging from $45,000 - $55,000 plus monthly sales commissions.
Monthly vehicle mileage allowance and travel expense reimbursement.
