Responsibilities: • Prepare prescriptions – Prepare medication, as prescribed by physicians, under the guidance of the acting Pharmacist. Under the direction of Pharmacists, remove unneeded or outdated drugs from stock and prepare for return or disposal. Order, receive, and maintain the inventory to maintain tight security at all times. Customer Service - Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner. Provide information on pharmacy products, services, and promotions. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. * Cash Handling and Record Keeping - Maintain the accuracy of financial records, including sales, cash, and credit card transactions. Prepare and reconcile daily cash and financial reports. Ensure the security and confidentiality of financial information. * Inventory Management - Assist in monitoring and restocking OTC medication shelves. Notify the pharmacy team when stock levels are low. Help maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Compliance - Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures, including those related to HIPAA and regulatory compliance. Stay updated on changes in pharmacy regulations and contribute to maintaining a compliant environment. * Team Collaboration - Work collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other staff to ensure efficient operations.
