We are seeking a friendly, organized, and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our team. As a Salon Assistant, you will provide essential support to our stylists and ensure the salon runs smoothly. Your duties will include preparing clients, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and assisting with various tasks to enhance the client experience.
- Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist stylists with setting up and cleaning workstations before and after services.
- Shampoo, condition, and rinse clients' hair before their appointments.
- Provide clients with capes, towels, and other necessary items for their services.
- Offer clients refreshments and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
- Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and salon areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk as needed, including answering phone calls and handling customer inquiries.
- Assist in maintaining salon inventory by stocking products, shampoo, conditioners, and styling tools.
- Help stylists with blow-drying, hair styling, and other salon services as required.
- Maintain a tidy and organized salon environment by cleaning floors, mirrors, and other public areas.
- Promote salon products and services to clients when appropriate.
