West Shore Marine is seeking an experienced Shop Manager to oversee the daily repair, maintenance, and operation of boats at our busy Lake Hopatcong marina. This is a fast-paced, hands-on management role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has strong leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the marine service department, manage and coordinate service technicians, s schedule repairs, maintenance, and seasonal service work, order parts and manage shop inventory, communicate with customers regarding service needs and timelines, ensure quality control and efficiency of all service work, maintain workflow in a high-volume seasonal environment.
Qualifications:
Marine industry experience required, strong leadership and team management skills, ability to multitask and manage a busy service schedule, extensive knowledge of boat systems, engines, and marine maintenance, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Pay based on experience.
Marine Manufacturers certification a plus- Mercury, Johnson, Tohatsu, Yamaha, Mercruiser.
MUST have a boating license
