  Job Description We are seeking an experienced Overnight Transportation & Fleet Coordinator to manage nighttime fuel-delivery operations and ensure the CDL fleet is fully prepared for the following morning. Schedule: Sunday through Friday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This is a permanent overnight position. Candidates looking for temporary night work while waiting for a daytime opportunity should not apply. Responsibilities • Manage and communicate with CDL drivers throughout the night shift., • Monitor routes, deliveries, driver progress, delays and operational issues., • Coordinate directly with mechanics regarding breakdowns and equipment problems., • Communicate effectively in English and Spanish., • Monitor truck and compartment product levels and available capacity., • Calculate fuel transfers between trucks to ensure equipment and product are properly positioned for the morning shift., • Reassign drivers and equipment when breakdowns, call-outs or unexpected situations occur., • Monitor fleet activity using dispatch and GPS systems., • Maintain accurate operational spreadsheets and shift records., • Provide a complete and accurate handoff to the morning team., • Make operational decisions independently when situations arise overnight. Required Qualifications • Previous experience dispatching, supervising or managing CDL drivers is required., • Experience in trucking, transportation, fuel delivery, fleet operations or a similar environment., • Bilingual English/Spanish is required., • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required. All qualified candidates will complete an Excel skills test during the interview process., • Must be comfortable with Excel formulas, sorting, filtering, organizing data and performing calculations., • Strong mathematical skills, including calculating gallons, available truck capacity and product transfers., • Working knowledge of DOT requirements and Hours of Service., • Experience with dispatch, GPS or fleet-management software., • Ability to handle multiple drivers, routes and operational problems simultaneously., • Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills., • Must be able to work the overnight schedule consistently. This position requires hands-on transportation experience and real-time decision-making involving CDL drivers, trucks, fuel inventory, equipment availability and morning fleet readiness.
