Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As the Warehouse Team Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the warehouse team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve daily operational goals. Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and safety regulations. Coordinate and oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks. Implement and monitor performance metrics to ensure efficiency and productivity. Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner. Collaborate with other departments to optimize the supply chain process. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus. Proven experience in a leadership role. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment. Forklift certification is preferred, but not necessary.
