Job Description Position: Financial/Accounting Analyst Job Pay: $110,000 – $120,000 Annually. Job Overview The Financial/Accounting Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Director of Accounting to manage and oversee cost accounting activities, manage special projects, data collection and trend analysis, risk assessment, identify ways to improve/streamline/implement/enforce existing accounting processes and internal control via accounting system R365 and other platforms. Company requires an individual who is experienced, deadline driven, independent, detail-oriented, computer savvy, self- initiative, and with effective communication, leadership, planning, and analytical skills. He or she must have a strong understanding and experience in accounting, finance, treasury and cash management, audit, lending, budgets, forecasting, financial analysis, accounting workflow, internal control captive insurance, lease accounting management, inventory management, recipe management and more. Knowledge of GAAP and CPA preferred. Responsibilities The responsibilities listed here are not all-inclusive; they indicate the types of activities usually performed by this position. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate core competencies in the following areas performed by this position. • Assist Director of Accounting to manage and oversee cost accounting activities, manage special projects, data collection/trend analysis, risk assessment and more., • Set up and manage recipe builder and inventory management., • Manage accounting software integration and automate manual procedures., • Develop and enforce accounting procedures, policy, workflow, and internal controls., • Prepare sales and financial budget, forecast and other special accounting reports and analysis., • Review food cost, inventory transactions, and set up food category., • Review and update security settings and protocol., • Set up and train operation to utilize R365 to issue purchase order, receiving of goods and inventory count., • Implement 13 periods for reporting and comparison purposes., • Manage loan/lines for real estate., • Assist the accounting department to maximize the usage for R365 with other platforms/departments to eliminate manual/duplicate work and streamline workflow., • Streamline AR paperwork and procedures for Operation depts along with new POS (Par Brink) implementation., • Review and utilize software to automate all accounting functions i.e., invoice approval process, etc., • Manage loans, escrow closing and prepare bank compliance report., • Manage annual audits and prepare audit supporting schedule., • Manage Fixed Asset, depreciation, capitalization threshold and accounting for construction in progress, leasehold improvements, cost of sales classification, inventory count procedure and gift/promotional card recognition and analysis., • Review lease agreement and manage deferred rent, lease liability and tenant allowance related to ASC842., • Prepare cam reconciliation for tenants and review cam reconciliation for property owner., • Prepare and analyze monthly closing, consolidated financial statements and reporting., • 10 years of experience as Financial/Accounting Analyst or equivalent required., • BS degree in Accounting or Finance, knowledge of GAAP, CPA Preferred., • Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, treasury and cash management, audit, lending, income tax, budget, forecasting, financial analysis, lease management, internal control/workflow, captive insurance, recipe, and inventory management., • Hands-on experience, deadline driven, independent, detail oriented and self-initiative., • Effective communication, leadership, planning, and analytical skills., • 401(k) matching program to help you save for retirement., • Comprehensive dental insurance coverage for you and your dependents., • Health insurance plan to support your well-being., • Generously paid time off to rest, relax, and recharge.
