Job Description Sr. Product Designer - UX This is a rare chance to • ·Get in early, build out your team, and create an end-to-end Design System for the next generation of the companies app and web experiences, • ·Join a high-performance team of Product pros from top NYC shops., • ·Make a real difference both for the users in the lives of small business owners and the hundreds of thousands of people they employ, and millions of customers What you’ll be doing ● Lead Product Design strategy across App and Web, partner with PMs to align with Roadmap. ● Promote Design Thinking throughout the organization and help Product accelerate Design Sprints and prototyping. ● Through both qualitative and quantitative analysis, keep the organization navigating by a North Star of the user’s Job To Be Done and the Design Thinking that will create a solution for that job. ● Will do User Resear and customer journey mapping. ● Collaborate with Product Directors, developers, marketers, and customer support throughout the Product process, including discovery, testing and scoping to drive successful launches and iterations. What we’re looking for ● 3-6 years of UX/Product Design experience, with a good portion designing for transactional/marketplace App and Web products. ● Ability to make design decisions for a squad of product managers and engineers. ● Strong experience creating design systems. ● Deep knowledge of UX Research and customer journey mapping, and how to leverage these to formulate the Job To Be Done and craft elegant, intuitive experiences. ● Demonstrated ability to communicate and partner well across, up and down the organization. ● Familiarity with leading design sprints and prototyping.

Job DescriptionSalary: $25 to $35 per hour PRIMARY FUNCTION This position is responsible for ensuring the safe and timely preparation of works of art for display, exhibition and transport. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Installing and de-installing artwork in galleries and storage areas, • Storing artwork safely in warehouse, • Loading/unloading trucks; moving crated/packed works throughout the galleries and warehouse, • Packing/unpacking artwork for shipment, • Assisting in preparing galleries for display/exhibition by spackling, light painting, etc., • Assisting in framing and unframing of two dimensional artworks and mounting of three-dimensional works of art, • Assisting in making assessments concerning the safety of works and taking necessary action to secure artworks, • Assisting photographers during shoots, • May assist in the construction of new or retrofitting previously constructed crates, • Disposing of materials and unused crates in warehouse and galleries, • Assisting with special events, including acting as a viewing assistant which requires neat appearance and interaction with clients, • Performing other ad-hoc duties as requested PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • 1 years experience in an auction house, internationally recognized gallery, fine art shipping or museum, required, • Working knowledge of and experience with various packing methods suitable to a wide range of media, required, • Working knowledge of and experience with installation methods suitable to a wide range of media, required, • Audio/Visual skills, preferred, • Basic electrical skills including wiring, preferred, • Finish carpentry skills, preferred EDUCATION AND TRAINING • Bachelor of Arts preferred, • Fine Arts Background preferred PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES • Ability to work professionally and responsibly with all other areas within the business, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., • Punctual and proactive with excellent organizational skills, • High degree of time and resource management skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize to meet strict deadlines, • Ability to deal effectively and efficiently with multiple tasks WORKING CONDITIONS • Work is undertaken in our Long Island City warehouse and Park Avenue galleries, • Requires local travel between locations to install artworks, • Weekend and evening work as required, • Newly hired staff must be fully vaccinated by their start date.
