Job Description Fine Dining Server/Bartender 20 Bayard Ln, Princeton, NJ 08540, USA Job Description The Peacock Inn Restaurant aims to provide an elegant and exceptional dining experience enhanced by attentive, sophisticated décor, and a contemporary approach to cuisine. We are seeking a Server/Bartender to join our fine dining team. The ideal candidate must possess extensive knowledge of food, liquors, aperitifs, cocktails and wine. Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs. Essential Functions: • Orchestrate food and beverage service for a station of tables and bar guests., • Present menus, take orders, and offer thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences., • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine, beer, and craft cocktails., • Develop rapport with guests to ensure a memorable and personalized experience., • Maintain a deep knowledge and passion for food, wine, spirits, and service standards., • Monitor and restock bar inventory and supplies throughout service., • Execute restaurant vision and policies with consistency and professionalism., • Handle guest complaints or special requests with tact and efficiency., • Enforce health, safety, and alcohol regulations and best practices., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas., • At least 4years' experience year of bar and fine dining restaurant experience preferred, • Must be creative, team-oriented, and self-motivated, • Able to read, write, speak and understand English, • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions, • Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment., • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards., • Ability to improvise and make decisions during service while adhering to protocol., • Moderate physical efforts required: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling and pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 pounds, • The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear, • The employee is frequently required to stand and walk, • Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision & focus Working Conditions: Workplace Environment Conditions • Bar environment, • The noise level in this office is usually moderate to high We Offer: • Competitive Salary, • Flexible schedule, • Comprehensive training, • Medical Insurance, • 401(k) Plan, • Paid Sick time (NJ) Visit us at Genesis Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
