The IT Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, cross-functional IT projects, including but not limited to ERP, WMS, MES, data integration, infrastructure, and manufacturing systems. The role requires hands-on project leadership, the ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, and proven success managing risk, budget, timelines, and stakeholder expectations in a regulated manufacturing environment. Project Leadership & Delivery • Own full project lifecycle: intake, requirements, design, funding, build, testing, deployment, and stabilization, • Lead multiple concurrent IT projects with minimal supervision, • Ensure projects deliver measurable business outcomes tied to operational efficiency, compliance, and scalability, • Develop and maintain detailed functional and technical specifications, including system workflows, integrations, data flows, and dependencies, • Partner closely with IT teams, vendors, and business owners to ensure solutions are technically sound and operationally viable, • Demonstrate working knowledge of manufacturing systems such as ERP, WMS, MES, EDI, labeling, automation, and reporting platforms, • Create and deliver clear, concise project status reporting to project teams, business stakeholders, and executive sponsors, • Proactively identify, communicate, and escalate risks, constraints, and resource conflicts, • Develop, own, and actively manage detailed project schedules, • Identify potential bottlenecks, operational risks, and technology constraints early, • Build and manage project budgets, including business cases, funding approvals, monthly forecasts, and variance explanations, • Coordinate across IT infrastructure, applications, security, operations, quality, finance, and external vendors, • Ensure IT solutions align with manufacturing workflows, food safety requirements, and regulatory expectations, • Support change management and adoption efforts in an onsite production environment Required Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical field (required), • Minimum 3–5 years of direct IT project management experience, with documented success delivering complex technology projects, • Hands-on experience managing enterprise IT implementations (ERP, WMS, MES, or similar manufacturing systems), • Demonstrated use of formal project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid), • Proven ability to independently manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and vendor performance, • Solid understanding of:, • ERP / WMS / MES systems, • Data integration and system interoperability, • IT infrastructure and application dependencies, • Manufacturing and operational technology constraints, • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels, • Strong task management and execution discipline, • High integrity, accountability, and transparency, • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence without authority, • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with IT and manufacturing best practices Additional Requirements • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the role, • Successful completion of interview process required, • Salary range: $85,000 – $120,000 annually
