Job DescriptionPosition Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic with a strong background in food manufacturing to join our production team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operation. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, a strong understanding of preventative maintenance programs, and the ability to work safely in a refrigerated environment. Qualifications * 3+ years of maintenance experience in food or beverage manufacturing, or a related industrial environment. * Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, belts, gearboxes, and electrical systems. * Familiarity with industrial refrigeration systems and comfortable working in cold environments (refrigerated or freezer rooms). * Basic electrical troubleshooting skills; ability to work safely with 480V systems is a plus. * Proficiency with welding, fabrication, or machine shop tools preferred. * Understanding of preventative maintenance programs and work order systems. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production and quality teams. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or overtime as required.
