Job Description CADREX Manufacturing Solutions is a leading provider of complex sheet metal and machined production parts, assemblies, and weldments for a variety of end markets, including electrical transmission and distribution, warehouse automation, technology, aerospace & defense, medical, food, and industrials. Cadrex is searching for a Maintenance Technician III to perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, facility equipment, and physical structures according to safety and preventive maintenance systems and processes. Benefits: • Medical, dental and vision insurance, • Life insurance, • 401k, • Short and long-term disability, • Paid time off Responsibilities: • Perform highly diversified duties in maintaining production machines and the plant facility’s equipment, • Develop work instructions for production and facility’s equipment helping to build a preventive maintenance system, • Use a variety of hand and power tools and electric multimeters, • Ability to use computers proficiently, • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of equipment, machines, and facilities, • Coordinate services from outside vendors and contractors, • Responsible for purchasing parts and maintaining inventory, • Assist in the ongoing training of maintenance staff and operators for scheduled and regular maintenance, • Schedule maintenance for both preventative and unscheduled jobs and prioritize work according to company and manager needs, • Work closely with management to determine equipment needs and expected issues that may be predictable in nature, • Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions, • Diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests, and adjusts, • Detects faulty operations, defective materials or/or equipment and reports as required, • Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems, • Provides emergency service and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs to production equipment during machine service, • Patches or replaces plaster/plaster board and paints walls, ceilings, and trim of buildings, • May be required to use personal vehicle at times for work assignments Requirements: • 5+ years’ experience may be substituted in lieu of degree, • Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of hand tools, ability to understand mechanical processes, possess electronics knowledge, and possess a basic knowledge of hydraulics, • Previous experience in a machine shop performing maintenance mechanic duties preferred, • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance and/or repair instructions and manuals, and procedure manuals, • Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics Plan to attend and meet face-to-face with hiring managers.
