We are immediately hiring a Cabinet Installer / Carpenter to join our team. The projects will be across the Bloomfield, NJ metro area and surrounding communities. Why Work for Kitchen Tune-Up • Competitive compensation based on experience with opportunities for raises, • Performance pay, • Growth path into senior field leadership or project management, • Reliable, steady pipeline of projects, • Training, certification, and ongoing coaching, • High-caliber company reputation, local and national, • Professional team environmentCore Responsibilities Leadership & Execution • Lead installers and daily job sequence while actively working on installations, • Assign tasks and ensure safety, quality, and cleanliness, • Maintain a fast and efficient work paceclients dont want long delaysHands-On Production Work, • Install new cabinets and modify existing boxes, • Perform cabinet refacing including veneer application, • Install end panels, filler pieces, crown molding, toe kicks, trim details, • Drill for hinges, install drawers, roll-out trays, soft-close glides, • Ensure all cabinet doors and drawer fronts align cleanly and evenly Project Management Support • Report progress, material shortages, and adjustments daily, • Assist with job readiness planning and site coordination, • Communicate clearly with project manager throughout the jobJobsite Standards, • Clean and organize workspace daily, • Protect flooring, countertops, walls, and client belongings, • Follow Kitchen Tune-Up Trustpoints on every single projectClient Interaction, • Represent the brand in a polished, respectful manner, • Relay changes or concerns professionally, with solutionsnot complaintsSkills & Experience Needed, • Minimum 3 years in finish carpentry or cabinetry, • Prior cabinet refacing experience strongly preferred, • Ability to measure, lay out, and verify cabinet dimensions accurately, • Familiarity with drywall blending, small tile work, flooring, or light plumbing is helpful, • Must be fully capable of operating, • Table saw, • Router, • Power saws, • Nail guns, • Planers, • Standard cabinetry installation tools
