Our portfolio includes the Statue of Liberty restoration, Whitney Museum of American Art, New Terminal One at JFK, LaGuardia Airport, 220 Central Park South, Rockefeller University River Campus, Barnard College's Milstein Center, and many other prestigious projects. We've collaborated with architects like Renzo Piano on projects spanning ultra-luxury residential, cultural institutions, and infrastructure. As we formalize our marketing function to support continued growth, we're seeking an experienced professional to lead this effort. The Opportunity This is a rare chance to be the architect of our marketing function. As our first dedicated marketing hire, you'll have the autonomy to build systems, define processes, and shape how we show up in the market. You'll work directly with our principals, gaining exposure to business development strategy while executing across the full marketing spectrum. What You'll Own Business Development & Market Intelligence • Research market sectors, identify viable opportunities, and develop effective plans to pursue them, • Maintain and optimize CRM for principals' business development activities, • Lead the development of proposal responses to RFPs/RFQs and similar inquiries, analyzing requirements and confirming that all responses meet specifications, • Draft proposal-related content including project descriptions, resumes, technical service language, and more, • Work with team members to prepare customized collateral for new business opportunities, including statements of qualifications, sales sheets, case studies, and brochures, • Prepare company-formatted personnel resumes and project information sheets with clear, compelling writing that adheres to company standards and style, • Develop presentation materials for potential client interviews, working closely with project leads to develop messaging, research clients/prospects, and execute final decks with content and design support, • Write copy and create digital and print materials using brand templates, maintaining a cohesive brand voice across all platforms, • Manage website content and social media (LinkedIn primary focus) to build brand awareness and support business development through strategic storytelling, • Monitor and analyze content performance, using insights to optimize engagement and refine strategies across channels, • Coordinate external agencies, consultants, photographers, and video production for marketing content What You Bring Required Qualifications: • 4-5+ years of relevant experience in the A/E/C (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) industry and/or professional services, • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in English, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent, • Exceptional written and communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clear, compelling content, • Strong graphic and content creation skills, • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Adobe InDesign is a plus & knowledge of professional social media practices and basic analytic skills., • Self-starter who thrives in a smaller entrepreneurial culture with strong self-accountability and organizational skills, • Engaged individual with a can-do attitude who anticipates work needs and proactively accomplishes tasks with minimum direction, • Collaborative team player with flexibility and excellent listening skills, • Creative, independent, and resourceful in completing tasks accurately in compressed timeframes, • Comfortable with ambiguity—you can prioritize, make decisions, and move forward without extensive oversight What Makes This Role Different • Direct impact: Your work directly influences company growth and reputation, • Variety: No two days are the same; you'll work across strategy, execution, writing, design, and business development, • Access: Regular interaction with company leadership and involvement in business strategy, • Flexibility: Small team culture means flexibility in how and where you work, • Growth: As we grow, so does your role—potential to build a team beneath you as the company expands Compensation & Benefits · Competitive Compensation $100k - $125k, commensurate with experience + discretionary bonus · Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage · 401k • Hybrid environment with 3-4 days/week in Midtown office To Apply Please submit the following to [contact]: 1.
