Job Description HVAC Technician – Job Description & Responsibilities We are seeking a reliable and skilled HVAC Technician to install, service, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and light commercial customers. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces, hydronic boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits, • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections, • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend proper solutions, • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals, • Test HVAC systems for proper operation, airflow, and efficiency, • Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and maintenance options, • Maintain accurate service records and work orders, • Follow all safety procedures and local building codes, • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition, • 5+ years HVAC experience preferred (or equivalent training/apprenticeship), • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces, • Ductless/VRF experience, • Competitive pay based on experience, • Overtime opportunities, • Paid training and continuing education, • Company vehicle, tools, and uniforms, • Paid time off and holidays Company DescriptionWe are a growing Plumbing & HVAC company seeking skilled, dependable technicians to join our team.
