Job Description Pay: $30-$37/hr Position Overview • Lead all assigned tasks for installing energy conservation projects., • Ensure clean, prepared jobsite; assist crew with equipment assembly and installations., • Work safely, adhering to:, • National Electrical Code (NEC), • OSHA guidelines, • Centrica Business Solutions procedures & practices Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Work safely following Centrica and OSHA guidelines., • Complete all work per NEC standards., • Report to Field Operations Manager, Site Superintendent, or Operations Manager for assignments., • Provide daily direction and supervision to on‐site self‐install team., • Coach, mentor, and develop team members., • Accountable for:, • Daily production targets, • Quality installations, • Performing hands‐on installation tasks, • Maintain a clean, hazard‐free jobsite., • Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment for commercial electrical installations., • Install equipment correctly using manufacturer instructions and the Quality Management Plan (QMP)., • Assist with loading/unloading trucks and staging materials., • Maintain company‐provided tools and equipment., • Interact professionally with coworkers and customers., • Participate in weekly safety meetings + complete all required safety training., • Perform additional tasks as needed., • Work independently, recognize required tasks, and lead according to project schedule., • Complete daily reports including:, • Activities, • Progress photos, • Site conditions, • Issues/challenges, • Prepare look‐ahead planning for:, • Materials, • Tools, • Manpower, • Information needed to stay on schedule, • Analyze site conditions to identify:, • Hazards, • Defects, • Needed modifications or maintenance, • Code compliance issues, • Drive company vehicle; trailer equipment/materials as needed. Requirements Education • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred), • 4+ years commercial installation experience, • Ability to work safely on rooftops, ladders, and lifts, • Ability to read and execute construction plans, • Full understanding of:, • Equipment layout and assembly, • Manufacturer install specifications, • Grounding and bonding requirements in solar installations Certifications & Licenses • Valid Driver’s License*, • OSHA 10, • OSHA 30 (required within 6 months) Preferred Tools • 8‐in‐1 screwdriver (Klein, Milwaukee, etc.), • Wire strippers, • Channel‐lock pliers (8" or 10"), • Needle‐nose pliers (6" or 8"), • Smooth‐jaw pliers or 6"/8" crescent wrench, • Lineman’s pliers, • Cable snips, • Flashlight, • Headlamp, • Utility knife, • Cordless drill, • Tape measure Talents & Skills • Highly self‐motivated and ambitious, • Strong sense of urgency; proactive problem solving, • Attention to detail, • Ability to learn quickly, • Strong communication skills, • Ability to complete accurate daily written reports, • Able to use tablet or computer, • Leadership abilities, • Active listening, • Critical thinking Working Conditions • Work performed on customer job sites; conditions vary by location., • Majority of work outdoors with exposure to:, • Rain, snow, heat, cold, • Loud, dusty, wet, or dry environments, • Occasional exposure to hazardous areas (e.g., steel mills, chemical plants). Physical Requirements • Frequent driving, standing, and walking., • Climbing ladders or stairs when necessary., • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs throughout the day. Travel • Regular travel Monday–Friday depending on job location., • May require extended travel (1–2 months nationally)., • Must arrive to jobsite on time daily.
