Job Description We are looking for a commercial HVAC service estimator with minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience to join our service team. This is a commercial service estimator position; applicants with residential service experience or those seeking a sales\account manager position are not encouraged to apply. Successful applicants must have prior field experience with commercial HVAC services. Responsibilities of this position include: • Review assigned service technician reports for field and diagnostic information, • Identify HVAC parts and materials needed for a service repair, • Collect pricing information for necessary parts and materials from local vendors, • Estimate labor hours needed to make repairs, • Write a scope of work for performing identified repairs, • Use company software systems to prepare quote pricing and issue proposals for customer approval, • Respond to customer questions on repair proposals, • Order materials and parts or select them from inventory for approved proposals, • Check materials and parts for completeness prior to technician dispatch for executing repairs, • Participate in weekly estimator meetings for service quoting, • flexible paid-time-off plan, • 401K plan with matching, • Multiple healthcare plans, including dental, • Vision, Life & Disability insurances, • Offices closed between Christmas and New Years, as well as other holidays, • Great team environment Support and growth for our team members is a top priority at Evco; we consider employment as building a future together, not just providing a job.
