Job Description We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Certified Orthotic Fitter to join our clinical team. In this role, you will provide high-quality orthotic care through patient evaluation, treatment planning, device fitting, and follow-up services. Key Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive orthotic patient assessments and implement prescribed treatment plans, • Examine patients in relation to diagnosed conditions and functional limitations as prescribed by physicians, • Collaborate with physicians, orthotists, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate patient needs, • Cast, mold, fabricate, fit, adjust, modify, and repair orthotic devices, • Educate patients on the proper use and care of orthotic devices, • Fit and deliver orthotic devices, ensuring proper function, comfort, medical effectiveness, and quality, • Identify and resolve fit or function issues to ensure patient satisfaction, • Provide follow-up care and maintain communication with patients and referring providers, • Document detailed and accurate clinical notes in patient records, • Participate in internal training, team meetings, and clinical leadership activities, • Provide in-service education to physicians and healthcare professionals as needed, • Assist other clinical staff and communicate with administrative staff to support reimbursement processes, • Operate fabrication equipment safely for device modification when required, • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, • Maintain compliance with all safety standards, Medicare and government regulations, OSHA requirements, and bloodborne pathogen protocols, • Current Certified Fitter - Orthotics (CFo) certification from the American Board for Certification (ABC)., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team., • Strong ability and willingness to adapt to new technologies, materials, and clinical techniques.
