The Electrical Construction Manager is responsible for coordinating, managing, and reporting on all electrical utility‑related construction activities for mission‑critical facilities. This role oversees offsite and onsite utility work, temporary power and generation systems, and electrical scopes across multiple stakeholders. This individual provides consistent project controls, schedule oversight, financial tracking, and technical coordination. This is a project‑management-oriented role requiring strong office, communication, and reporting skills. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field, • 7-10 years of electrical construction or missioncritical project experience (Data Center, Semiconductor, Labs, or similar), • Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, • PMP, CCM, or PE license is a plus, • Demonstrated ability to manage utilities, electrical vendors, and field activities, • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, • Ability to proactively identify issues and drive solutions across crossfunctional teams Duties & Responsibilities: Schedule Management • Oversee electrical construction schedules, including offsite and onsite utility work, • Lead and participate in weekly schedule review meetings with contractors and vendors, • Coordinate detailed planning sessions for electrical and utilityrelated scopes, • Manage delivery, installation, and startup schedules for OFCI electrical equipment, • Maintain alignment between temporary power systems, utility availability, and commissioning activities, • Support GMP buyout reviews for electrical scopes and provide detailed analysis, • Evaluate and recommend electrical valueengineering options, • Review and process electrical change orders, cost impacts, and risk items, • Support proactive costavoidance initiatives related to temporary power and utility planning, • Provide QA/QC oversight for electrical work, including utility tieins and temporary systems, • Monitor safety compliance in coordination with site leadership, • Support development and review of electrical MOPs, utility shutdown plans, and notifications, • Track weekly field progress and develop accurate reporting for leadership and stakeholders, • Oversee receiving, inspection, and tracking of OFCI electrical equipment, • Process electricalrelated pay apps, cost documentation, and change management items, • Lead or support weekly OAC or electrical coordination meetings and issue detailed meeting minutes, • Develop weekly project reporting for electrical scope status, risks, and schedule alignment, • Manage electrical design coordination after initial design development, • Integrate customer fitout electrical packages with basebuild designs, • Provide cost validation and process design changes, • Track and coordinate electrical permit submissions and updates, • Support AHJ inspections, energization milestones, and certificateofoccupancy requirements related to electrical systems Benefits Offered: • Medical insurance, • Dental Insurance, • Vision Insurance, • 401(k) retirement plan with 4% KALCON match when an employee contributes at least 5%, • 15 days of paid time off, • 8 paid National Holidays, • Reimbursement for professional licenses and certifications Submission Requirements: At a minimum, the candidate's professional resume must include the following: • List of all Educational Achievements, • List of all Professional Licenses or Certificates, • Name & Contact Information of the firm or agency, • Start Date and End Date (Month & Year), • Positions Held At KALCON we are committed to creating an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace where every individual is respected and valued.
