As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a government environment. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the assigned location, maintaining a visible presence to help create a secure atmosphere for staff and visitors. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to be prepared to respond promptly to incidents while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. You will interact with the public, provide clear communication, and support a sense of order as you carry out your duties. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue05:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur05:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites, • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education, • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams, • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service, • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed., • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location., • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence., • Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas., • Document and report any security-related incidents or suspicious activities in accordance with site protocols., • Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed., • Availability across various days and shifts, • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments, • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company, • Active driver's license, • U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or, • Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or, • Associate's Degree (60 College Credits on Official Transcripts) Why Join Us: • Flexible Scheduling: Choose from a variety of open shifts that align with your availability and lifestyle., • Career Growth: Clear path to full-time roles and ongoing advancement through paid training programs., • Smart Tools: Access exclusive technology for real-time shift visibility and claiming., • Full-Time Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k) plans, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.
