Position Overview: As a Box Truck Driver at Ikon Logistics you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck, delivering goods to customers, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery. You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure the smooth operation of daily deliveries. Responsibilities: • Safely operate a box truck • Load, unload, and transport goods to customer locations • Ensure timely delivery and proper handling of merchandise • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle • Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork • Communicate with dispatch and customers as needed • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies • Assist with loading and unloading if necessary • Report any issues or mechanical problems with the vehicle to management promptly Requirements: • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record • Proven experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles • Ability to lift [insert weight requirement, up to 50 lbs] and handle physical tasks • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Strong attention to safety and detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting delivery deadlines
