Position Summary: As Director of Sales, you will own DHACPAs firm sales strategy and drive financial services business development from lead generation through close. Youll define and execute our gotomarket plan, manage a datadriven sales pipeline, and lead initiatives to expand our client roster. Partnering with firm leadership, marketing, and operations, youll craft compelling proposals, track KPIs, and ensure a seamless transition from prospect to longterm client. Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Sales Leadership, • Develop and implement an annual sales plan aligned with firm's growth objectives, • Set revenue targets, track performance, and forecast quarterly results, • Identify new markets, service lines, and referral sources, • Pipeline & Client Acquisition, • Generate qualified leads through networking, outreach, events, and digital channels, • Qualify prospects against DHAs ideal client profile and manage sales pipeline, • Host discovery meetings, deliver sales presentations, and negotiate engagement terms, • Team & Vendor Coordination, • Partner with internal teams (Partners, Accounting, Admin) to craft proposals and pricing models, • Manage relationships with external marketing and lead-gen vendors, • Assist firm partners in coaching Supervisors and Managers on leading prospective-client meetings and guiding the client onboarding process, • Client Onboarding & Retention, • Oversee smooth handoff from sales to onboarding specialists, • Monitor early-stage client satisfaction and address any concerns, • Collaborate on cross-sell/up-sell strategies to maximize client lifetime value, • Analytics & Reporting, • Track key metrics (lead sources, win rates, average revenue, sales cycle length), • Publish regular sales dashboards and actionable insights to firm leadership, • Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities, • Brand & Community Engagement, • Represent DHA CPAs at local industry events, conferences, and charitable initiatives, • Contribute to thought leadership via social media, firm blog posts, and webinars, • Ensure consistency of firm branding and messaging across all channels Education & Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred (not required), • 2+ years of progressive sales or business-development experience preferredideally in a professional-services environment, • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets and managing sales cycles, • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and sales-enablement tools preferred (not required), • Exceptional networking, social selling, negotiation, and presentation skills, • Ability to interpret sales data and KPIs, • Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience Desired Skills & Experience: • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and ownership, • Ability to identify, research, and qualify potential customers, • High level of comfort with calling, emailing, messaging, or networking to initiate contact, • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills, • Demonstrate a high level of active listening skills to understand potential clients needs and objections, • Growth-minded, process-improvement orientation, • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive in follow-through, • Ability to harness and implement digital marketing tactics, • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Schedule & Location: • 40 hours per week, hybrid (office in Chaska, MN), • Decreased Summer hours 36 hours per week required (Memorial Day to Labor Day), • Office closed on Fridays, April 15 Labor Day Compensation & Benefits: • Base + Commission:, • Base salary starting at $60,000 with additional commissions providing the potential to earn up to $150,000 or more annually, • Detailed commission plan and bonus structure provided upon offer, • Full benefits package:, • Medical, dental, vision & life insurance, • 401(k) with firm match, • Generous PTO and firm holidays, • Paid maternity/parental leave, • Professional development reimbursement program, • Diverse workload, collaborative culture, and relaxed environment, • Core Values: We are client-focused, forward-thinking, dependable, a team, and proud of our organization For more information on DHA benefits, career paths, and core values, please visit our website - DHA CPAs is an equal-opportunity employer.
