Job Description Harder Mechanical is one of the nation’s largest mechanical contractors with an outstanding reputation for working safely, meeting tough schedules, and delivering quality projects. Based in Portland Oregon, we work primarily in the 11 western states with regional offices in Reno, NV; Phoenix, AZ; Richmond, CA; and Salt Lake City, UT. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will work with our estimating and construction operations teams to produce qualification packages, proposals, and presentations to support the pursuit of new work opportunities. The marketing coordinator works with the Marketing Manager to develop internal and external marketing materials and manages the project and corporate information used to support these efforts. This position is in-office, full-time at our headquarters in NE Portland. The Marketing Coordinator at Harder will perform the following daily tasks: • Lead the coordination and production of high-quality proposals and interview materials, including document management, technical writing, editing narrative, gathering images, proposal layout, and coordinating sub-consultant information, • Lead the organized collection, vetting, storage and maintenance of marketing information (such as personnel resumes, project org charts, headshots, photography, etc.), • Organize and lead proposal kick-off and other review meetings both virtually and in-office, • Ensure timely proposal deliverables by managing self and other members of proposal team, including monitoring progress, and managing the proposal process and schedule, • Maintain marketing files and databases, • Champion social media efforts across multiple platforms, • Develop unique events/conference material/collateral material, • Stay actively involved in professional marketing/graphics/communications organizations, • Provide support and excellent client service to other areas of the company, • Additional duties as assignedWhat you will need to be successful in this role:, • Strong skills in time management, organizing, researching, proofreading, writing and editing, • Ability to plan, multi-task, track progress toward deliverables, and meet tight deadlines, • Skills to organize meetings, supporting meeting facilitation and note taking to collect information, • Experience developing social media campaigns across multiple platforms, • Database management, presentation development and preparation, • Data entry skills, • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals, • Team-player mindset, • Determination and dependability, • A willingness to learn, • Other skills that would be great to have but aren’t required include:, • Experience in proposal planning and coordination, • Experience in document layout and production experience, • Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience, preferably in the AEC industry, • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, or similar Benefits • Competitive salary, • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits – 100% of employee premiums are paid by the company, • Generous retirement package includes: 10% retirement contribution made by the company and a company match up to 2% of your annual salary, • Profit sharing, • Discretionary annual bonus, • Paid vacation and holidays, • Harder University training and development, as well as other paid professional development opportunities This position is salaried.
