    About the Job Lambert Wellness, an established growing private practice in Glen Rock, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced, energetic, and fun-loving occupational therapist assistant to join our multi-disciplinary team. In the same way that you are committed to quality work, we are equally as dedicated to helping you succeed and grow with us! Responsibilities: Assist in planning, interacting, and supporting therapists with our group pediatric programs. Collaborate with evaluating Occupational Therapist in developing, modifying, and adapting treatment plans to meet the needs of the child. Create and implement activities for therapeutic services to children on a caseload that address needs identified in the treatment plan/plan of care. Abilities to interact/observe the child during trial sessions to build rapport and identify potential problem areas with development. Maintain records of services by completing daily notes in SOAP note format. Document and monitor child’s progress on weekly/monthly records in a timely manner. Communicates and educates children and families in home exercise programs and any additional developed recommendations for home/community carryover use. Requirements/Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited program. Licensed in the state of NJ. Passionate and has an openness to working with children of all ages. Strong interpersonal skills with abilities to interact and connect with children and parents. Creative and open to a multi-disciplinary approach to emphasize our foundation of “teamwork”. Strong written and oral communication skills. Flexible scheduling but available to work some week-day afternoons/early evenings and/or weekends.
