Job Description Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator Location: Onsite – Manufacturing Environment Compensation: $28–$32 per hour About the Role The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team within a fast paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining HR systems, ensuring compliance, supporting recruiting and onboarding efforts, and assisting with payroll and benefits coordination. This is an on site position based in New Brunswick, NJ. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly organized, and comfortable balancing transactional accuracy with employee interaction in a corporate and plant connected setting. Key Responsibilities • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality, • Process employee status changes including promotions, transfers, terminations, and compensation updates, • Support internal audits by ensuring documentation aligns with company policies and labor regulations, • Generate and distribute reports related to headcount, turnover, attendance, and workforce metrics, • Assist in troubleshooting HRIS related issues and serve as a resource for employees navigating system processes, • Coordinate job postings, screen resumes, and schedule interviews for corporate and site based roles, • Support onboarding activities including background checks, offer documentation, and new hire paperwork, • Ensure completion of required compliance training and documentation, • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits, • Support payroll and benefits administration processes in partnership with internal and external providers, • Assist with performance management cycles, engagement initiatives, and training programs, • Coordinate HR meetings, events, and leadership development activities Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, • 1 to 3 years of HR support experience, ideally within a manufacturing or corporate environment, • Experience with HRIS systems such as KRONOS or similar platforms, • Strong understanding of HR compliance and employee record management, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel for reporting and data tracking, • High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information, • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally Compensation range reflects experience level and skill depth within HR operations.
