Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client to identify a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to support high-volume accounts payable operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and timely payments in a fast-paced environment. This is an In Office role. 8 hour day (730am/8am start). Must be available to start right away! Primary Responsibilities • Assist the Accounts Payable Supervisor with daily operational tasks and reporting., • Review and compare vendor and subcontractor invoices against purchase orders or contracts to verify quantities, pricing, payment terms, freight charges, and extensions., • Compute discounts, determine applicable sales and use tax, and prepare invoices for timely payment., • Match invoices, purchase orders, and signed proof of delivery documents for high-volume vendors., • Review and reconcile vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies., • Enter approximately 1,000 invoices per month into Sage 300., • Prepare and distribute invoices for approval and assist with correcting purchase orders within Sage 300., • Liaise with vendors and internal purchasing teams to resolve invoice discrepancies., • Obtain appropriate approvals for exceptional charges, including freight and price discrepancies., • Review and reconcile vendor statements., • Run monthly cash requirement reports and process check runs for assigned vendors.Secondary Responsibilities, • Prepare and process daily Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) and ACH payments., • File monthly payments, invoices, packing slips, and shop notices., • Print, process, and prepare correspondence, checks, and daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed., • Retrieve and provide copies of invoices and supporting documentation upon request.Qualifications & Requirements, • Demonstrated strong attention to detail with the ability to stay highly organized in a fast-paced environment., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service with professionalism and effective communication., • Experience utilizing effective problem-solving techniques., • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals., • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages accurately.APPLY TODAY!!
