Job DescriptionTemp Bilingual (Spanish) Front Desk Admin Location: Freeport, NY Pay Rate: $20-22/hr (based on experience) Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite, Temporary (potential for extension or hire depending on client needs) About the Role We are seeking a professional, reliable, and empathetic Bilingual (Spanish) Front Desk Administrator to support a busy healthcare/medical office in Freeport, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong front desk experience in a clinical setting and the ability to provide exceptional service to patients in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities • Greet and check in/check out patients in a friendly and efficient manner, • Answer multi-line phones, route calls, and manage high-volume office flow, • Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments, • Verify and enter patient demographics and insurance information, • Assist with managing patient records, documentation, and incoming/outgoing faxes, • Support providers and office staff with administrative tasks as needed, • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area, • Provide compassionate assistance to patients and family members in an often fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environmentRequirements, • Must have prior experience working in a healthcare or doctor's office setting, • Must be bilingual in Spanish (fluent), • Must be able to work full-time onsite, • Must be able to work either:, • One afternoon/evening shift per week (1 PM-9 PM) OR, • One Saturday per week (9 AM-2 PM), • Experience working with an EMR system or comparable medical software, • Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to multitask, • High level of empathy and patience when working with patients and families, • Reliable, punctual, and able to handle a fast-paced clinical front desk environment, • Experience with insurance verification, • Familiarity with medical terminology, • Previous experience in behavioral health, outpatient clinics, or hospital settingsPay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour Search managed by: Clare Rant Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
