This position is hybrid/flexible schedule out of their beautiful Los Angeles, CA office and for immediate hire. What you will lead: Lead impact cases as a trial attorney that protect and benefit consumers. Represent clients with excellence throughout the legal process, serving as first chair in all legal proceedings while creating and overseeing legal strategy, case development, and all aspects of trial and settlement. As needed, lead complex legal research and draft high-level motions and oppositions. Provide valuable insights to Partner leadership to strengthen and continually improve the firm, processes, grow success and its client impact. What you bring: • A passion for the law and exceptional client representation, • Prior experience and passion for leading first-chair in civil cases, • Skilled in leading depositions of witnesses and experts., • Proven experience representing clients in hearings and arbitrations and resolving legal and procedural issues efficiently., • Passionate about working with firm leadership to advise on enhancing firm operations, including internal processes, procedures, and client communication guidelines, to strengthen the firm and make it continually more effective., • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active California Bar membership in good standing and 10 years of prior legal experience, • Proven successful jury verdicts as first chair, • Experience speaking Spanish is a plus but not required. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Work with an incredible team where your contributions and energy are truly valued. Compensation is dependent upon success in the role, and this position offers strong opportunities for both professional growth and increased compensation, with a clear path to firm partnership. Total compensation for the role ranges between $250,000 and $350,000+ includes both strong base salary plus competitive uncapped bonus plan including bonuses for taking cases to trial, and substantial bonus for each favorable result. Your success and drive will deem your overall total compensation. Starting base salary ranges from $200,000 to $250,000 depending on experience, plus the significant bonus plan, and outstanding comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; a 529 plan; pet insurance; and additional perks such as a supportive work environment, free weekly breakfasts, and exceptional guidance and training opportunities from our partners.
