This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent typing skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and update data into databases and systems accurately and efficiently
Verify data for accuracy and completeness before input
Review and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors
Maintain data integrity and confidentiality
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform data retrieval as needed
Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Follow data program techniques and procedures to maintain workflow
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role
Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is a plus
Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
Basic understanding of databases
Good command of English, both oral and written
Great attention to detail
