Job Description: Were seeking an experienced part-time pharmacy technician to join our team at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, FL.The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a fast-paced team environment, detail-oriented, and willing to assist where necessary. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: • Assists the pharmacist by entering and/or filling prescriptions for medications for oral, rectal, topical, or injectible use, • Creates medication labels and unit doses medications, • Accurately and efficiently completes data entry of prescriptions, • Demonstrates an ability to calculate figures and amounts relating to dosage calculations when filling various prescriptions ranging from the newborn to the elderly populations, • Maintains inventory of supplies in pharmacy and reorders them accordingly, • Professionally and efficiently interacts via email and telephone with customers, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals, • Makes phone calls on behalf of the pharmacy to insurance companies, healthcare facilities, etc. for the purpose of problem solving and information gathering, • Sells patient prescriptions to patient or patient representative utilizing the point of sale system, • Prepares and processes records and reports including medications and supplies dispensed to patients or customers, computes charges, and either enters them into the computer, or forwards them to accounting/data processing/similar department Position Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent, • Current pharmacy technician licensure in the applicable state(s) Schedule Details: • 20-25 hrs/week, • 5pm-9pm Mon-Fri, • 9am-1pm Sat Top advantages: As a team member at PharmD on Demand, youll enjoy: • Growth opportunities, • Social events, • Work-life balance, • Positive work environment
