About the Role: As a Front of House Team Member, you are the face of our restaurant. You'll create memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors or rolls through our drive-thru, delivering food fast, fresh, and with the signature hospitality that sets Chick-fil-A apart. Position Type • Full-time and Part-time Our Benefits Include • A fun work environment where you can positively influence others, • Flexible scheduling (and closed on Sundays), • Learning first-hand from an experienced Operator and Restaurant Leaders, • Intentional growth and development to help you reach your professional goals, • Scholarship opportunities, • Competitive pay What You'll Do • Greet guests with a warm smile, eye contact, and genuine, heartfelt enthusiasm, • Take accurate orders at the front counter, drive-thru, or via mobile/tablet ordering, • Prepare and serve beverages, desserts, and other front-of-house items, • Deliver completed orders to dine-in guests, mobile guests, third party delivery couriers, drive-thru guests, and assist with any special requests, • Keep the dining room, beverage station, restrooms, and front counter stocked and spotless throughout your shift, • Work outdoors in the drive-thru lane in all weather conditions — taking orders, delivering food, and engaging with guests during heat, cold, rain, and snow, • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly, • Refill condiments, restock supplies, and maintain a clean and well-organized station and work area, • Anticipate guest needs — holding the door, clearing tables, refills, high chairs, extra napkins, etc. — before being asked, • Respond to guest concerns with patience, empathy, and a problem-solving mindset, • Collaborate with kitchen and other teammates to keep service flowing smoothly during peak hours, • Live out all of the Chick-fil-A and restaurant specific standards: "My pleasure" isn't just a phrase, it's a posture How Your Hours Will Work Shifts are assigned based on the availability you share with us and the needs of the business. We aim to keep schedules largely consistent week to week, though specific shifts may vary. Front of House shifts at Chick-fil-A Nanuet generally fall into one of five blocks: • Opening shifts start between 5:30 AM and 7:30 AM and end in the early-to-mid afternoon, covering breakfast service and lunch rush preparation., • Mid-morning shifts start between 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM and run into the afternoon, supporting the lunch rush., • Midday shifts start between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM and bridge the lunch and dinner periods., • Afternoon shifts start between 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM and cover the dinner rush into the evening. The number of hours you receive may be influenced by: • Reliability — your attendance and punctuality, • Versatility — your ability to work multiple positions and stations And remember — Chick-fil-A Nanuet is closed every Sunday.
