Job Description Role Title: Sales & Business Development Representative (Commission-Based) Company Overview: Breaking The Cycle Therapy is a new, client-focused mental health therapy practice committed to helping individuals, families, and communities heal through personalized, compassionate care. Our platform also includes a respected and growing podcast, Breaking The Cycle Radio, which tackles relevant topics in mental health, healing, social impact, and lived experience. Role Summary: This is a 100% commission-based position for a self-driven sales professional passionate about mental health and community outreach. Your primary mission will be to develop referral relationships, generate leads for therapists, and secure sponsorship deals for the podcast. You'll be a key player in scaling a meaningful brand while earning uncapped commissions based on the business you bring in. Key Responsibilities: 1. Referral Partner Acquisition (Therapy Practice) • Identify and reach out to potential referral sources (e.g., primary care physicians, schools, community centers, rehab facilities, social workers, HR departments)., • Schedule and conduct introductory meetings, in-person or virtual., • Pitch the value of Breaking The Cycle Therapy and explain how referrals can benefit their clients or patients., • Build long-term referral relationships and maintain regular communication with partners. 2. Lead Generation for Therapists • Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients to the therapy practice., • Examples: Partnerships with wellness events, targeted outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, mental health fairs, etc., • Coordinate with marketing team (if available) to convert leads into consultations and new clients., • Identify and contact potential sponsors and advertisers (e.g., mental health brands, nonprofits, wellness products, universities, etc.)., • Create tailored sponsorship packages (e.g., ad reads, interview spots, logo placements)., • Pitch value of sponsoring a mission-driven mental health podcast with a growing, loyal audience. Note: The commission structure should reflect sales effort and growth potential while being motivating. Revenue Source Commission Rate Notes New Client Lead Converts 10% of first session(s) booked or subscription/package value For directly sourced leads Podcast Sponsorships Closed 20% of sponsorship value Higher incentive for recurring sponsors Example: • $1,000 podcast sponsorship = $200, • Background in sales, outreach, or business development, preferably in healthcare, wellness, or nonprofit space, • Excellent communication & relationship-building skills, • Entrepreneurial mindset — can work independently and be creative with outreach, • Passion for mental health and community impact, • Comfortable with cold outreach and securing meetings with gatekeepers, • of referral partner meetings booked/month, • of active referral partnerships, • of leads generated that convert to new clients, • and $ of podcast sponsorship deals closed As the business scales, top-performing reps may have the opportunity to: • Transition to a base + commission structure, • Take on leadership roles (e.g., managing other sales reps or territory expansion), • Training on therapy practice offerings and value proposition, • Branding materials, brochures, email templates, • Sample sponsorship decks, • Access to leadership for strategy and partnership developmentCompany DescriptionOur mission is to heal individuals and families impacted by addiction, codependency, and trauma through compassionate, specialized, and integrative therapy, and to empower our clients to break unhealthy cycles and build a new legacy.
