You’ll be responsible for setting our sales strategy and targets, cultivating our sales staff, evaluating their progress, and ensuring we hit our sales goals. Job seekers should be leaders, innovators, hard workers, and team players.Compensation: $45,000 base plus monthly and year-end bonuses Responsibilities: • Ensure our sales staff achieves their goals by making sales plans for each sales representative, setting individual sales targets, assigning territories, and managing their ongoing training programs, • Continue company growth by identifying new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs, • Cultivate long-lasting customer relationships to meet customer needs, and mitigate any complaints to ensure continued business, • Set our sales strategies and sales objectives to achieve our sales goals, • Evaluate the team’s sales performance and offer advice on continuous improvement, • Manage, coach, and develop the best performance from each individual on the team, • Clearly communicate goals and assign team and individual ownership, • Hold team members accountable for results, • Respectfully and appropriately share good news and bad news to get team buy-in, • Ensure, motivate, and present opportunities to each team member to develop and learn new skills, • Provide ongoing feedback to team members, • Ensure that each team member has the necessary resources to do their job well, • Sell merchandise to consistently meet or exceed sales goals, • Provide outstanding customer service and a high-quality shopping experience to grow the customer base, • Be a champion for company culture and uphold store policies and procedures, • Set the tone for the company's commitment to delivering a great customer experienceQualifications:, • Must possess a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major, • Proven track record of sales success, • Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills, • 3-5 years of experience in sales management as a sales executive or in a leadership role in the sales department, • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, • Committed to continuous education through workshops, training, and conferences, • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, • Strong business sense and industry expertise, • Selling to customer needs, people skills, dependability, strong communication, and organizational skills, • Previous retail sales management experience preferred, • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skillsAbout Company We are an established family-owned jewelry store located in downtown Ripon, WI.
