Job Description Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fiber Laser Operator role in Marion, OH. Key Responsibilities: · Operate and monitor fiber laser cutting machines to ensure precision and accuracy in all fabricated components. · Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to determine machine settings and cutting requirements. · Perform setups, adjustments, and offsets on laser equipment as needed for various materials and thicknesses. · Conduct quality checks on parts to verify dimensions, tolerances, and material integrity. · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety and maintenance protocols. · Load and unload materials using appropriate handling equipment while ensuring accurate part identification and inventory tracking. · Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser cutting equipment to minimize downtime. · Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet production goals and improve cutting efficiency. · Accurately record production data, part counts, and equipment logs. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in manufacturing or CNC/laser operation preferred. · Prior experience operating a fiber laser cutting machine (e.g., Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, or Mazak) strongly preferred. · Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and precision measuring tools. · Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality standards. · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced production environment. · Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. · Flexibility to work swing shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
