Job DescriptionOverview The Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. This position involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and a commitment to ensuring safety protocols are followed. Duties • Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular inspections of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity., • Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary., • Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure compliance with safety policies., • Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site., • Document incidents, prepare reports, and maintain detailed records of daily activities., • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches., • Engage in conflict management to resolve disputes effectively while maintaining professionalism., • Operate and monitor CCTV systems to enhance security measures.Skills, • Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies., • Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is preferred; ability to respond effectively in emergencies., • Background in law enforcement or military service is advantageous., • Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively., • Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technology., • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential risks., • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Candidates who are dedicated to safeguarding people and property while demonstrating professionalism are encouraged to apply for this vital role within our organization.
