Role Overview:
The Social Media Intern will support content creation, post-strategizing, and on-site filming for Instagram and TikTok. This role is perfect for a college student studying marketing, communications, design, photography, or art who wants hands-on experience in social media management.
Responsibilities: - Assist in scripting and strategizing posts for Instagram and TikTok. - Film content on an iPhone and help with real-time editing, including selecting filters and music. - Use editing software and tools to create polished, engaging posts. - Manage backend shopping platforms, including Amazon Storefront, ShopMy, and LTK. - Stay updated on social media trends and assist in applying them to content strategy. - Provide general personal assistance to support daily tasks and project management, with evolving responsibilities as needed. Requirements: - Currently enrolled in a college program (Marketing, Communications, Design, Photography, or Art). - Strong knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok, with an understanding of current trends. - Proficient in photo and video editing apps/tools. - Comfortable with backend shopping platforms (Amazon Storefront, ShopMy, LTK). - Must be available to work on-site; pay is limited to on-site hours only. - Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently. - Benefits: - Hands-on experience with an influencer-led social media brand. - Opportunity to develop skills in content creation, strategy, and social media management. - Creative and dynamic work environment in Nassau County, NY.
