Job DescriptionDescription: Sasco River Center is an innovative, family-centered, multidisciplinary practice offering a wide range of diagnostic and therapy services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. We specialize in collaborative and comprehensive testing, psychotherapy and sensory processing. POSITION: Occupational Therapist (Entry-Level / Licensed) Full-Time, 40 hours/week (22-25 client-facing; 12-15 administrative/note-taking) Tuesday-Saturday with evening/after school availability REPORTS TO: Supervisor (as assigned) REQUIREMENTS: • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program., • Licensed in the State of Connecticut, • Ability to conduct occupational therapy evaluation, assessment and evidence-based OT interventions for children, adolescents, and adults, including sensory integration, fine/gross motor development, and ADL training, • Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills to balance clinical and administrative responsibilities, • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams., • Must maintain valid licensure, • Ability to commute to both Darien and Wilton locations, • Compassionate, empathetic, and caring demeanor DUTIES: • Develop a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities, • Provide direct occupational therapy services to children, adolescents, and/or adults (target of 25 client hours per week), • Dedicate 15 hours per week to administrative duties, including documentation, treatment planning, progress notes, and communication with families, multidisciplinary team members, schools, and outside providers as needed, • Maintain accurate and complete case records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, • Participate in scheduling of clients, • Participate in weekly supervision, staff meetings, grand rounds and case consultations, • Stay current with evidence-based OT practices and participate in professional development. Present new information to the department/clinic as appropriate, • Set up the gym for evaluations/sessions and maintain a clean gym environment after each therapy session/day, • Adhere to all Sasco written, oral, and safety policies and procedures, • Promote and embrace diversity and inclusion among the Sasco team and the communities we serve, • Salary $70,000Requirements:
