About Lavaux Wine & Fondue Bar Lavaux Wine & Fondue Bar is a West Village staple known for our imported Swiss wines and cheeses. The restaurant was created three years ago by the wine and cheese producers and is the only restaurant in the United States where you can try these wines. We are known for providing New York with traditional Swiss cuisine. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of Swiss Fondue and Charcuterie dishes Ensure consistent food quality by adhering to portion control, presentation, and taste specifications Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate and expedite orders during peak hours Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and hygiene guidelines Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure efficient food production Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, and rotate stock appropriately Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple orders simultaneously Uphold kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards to meet health department regulations Skill Required: Experience as a line cook Knowledge of fondue and charcuterie preparation techniques/ Swiss cuisine (preferred) Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and dedication to food quality Eye for food presentation/ plating Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Please review our menu to gain knowledge of the type of food we offer. Full Job Description: Holey Cream, an NYC staple in dessert and confections is a fun ice cream store and is seeking full time General Manager. We are looking for someone who is looking to move up and grow with our expanding company. We are currently opening our 3rd location and anticipate opening 5 more locations in the next 24 months. Must be able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends. We are a late night (2am) and weekend concept. Hands-on position, where Manager leads by example. Serve customers along with crew. Responsible for daily operations, i.e., staffing, food orders, baking, managing 6-8 employees, excellent corporate/health department inspections, weekly paperwork, setting and achieving operational goals, etc. Standing position. Must have excellent customer service skills. Fast paced environment requires ability to multi-task. Day shifts involve prepping the food for the day and also serving customers. Evening shifts are focused more on serving customers and cleaning tasks. Manager is available to answer calls and texts from crew. This requires fielding calls 24/7.
