Job DescriptionHIRING IMMEDIATELY: FORKLIFT OPERATOR IN CHICAGO, IL Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Forklift Operator to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for driving a forklift and an automatic box truck from building to building to transfer raw materials and finished goods. The ideal candidate will possess valid driver’s license, sit-down and Stand-up forklift experience, and more listed below. Apply online and kickstart your career today! Pay, Schedule, and Location • Starting at $23/hour, • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision, • 5:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Thursday, Overtime and Weekends, • Located in Chicago Illinois Duties and Responsibilities • Maneuvering forklifts safely, • Safely stacking and unstacking goods onto shelves or pallets, • Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport, • Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas, • Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods, • Reviewing shuttle list that is filled out by Line Leads and Supervisors, • Transporting product from one building to the other, • Picking orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring damaged cases are accounted for and the required paperwork is completed, • Maintaining a clean and organized Warehouse, • Properly recording open and/or damaged cases and storing properly Requirements and Qualifications • Valid driver’s license, • Sit-down and Stand-up forklift experience, • Ability to use Standup Walkie Rider, • Experience driving an automatic box truck, • 2+ years in a warehouse setting, picking experience a plus, • Computer literate (Excel and Word), MRP systems a plus, • Excellent interactive and communication skills (written and verbal), • Familiar with GMP’s, SQF, USDA or FDA and Safety Standards, • Able to communicate with other team members and supervisor, • Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision, • Excellent attention to detail, • Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines., • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, • Frequent use of hands to finger, handle, grasp or touch objects and tools, • Occasional climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, bending, and reaching, • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds -- ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNEL Do you need your next job fast?
